Mr. Glidden is absolutely correct. Micro is for sealing foam under glass. It can also be used to prepare a glass surface for painting. Here is an excellent article on that. http://curedcomposites.netfirms.com/finish.html Flox (a mixture if cotton fibers and epoxy) has two purposes, structural and small fillets. The cotton fibers strengthen the epoxy making it virtually break free.
