He told me and I seem to remember it being something around $40K. Not quite a Lancair.

For what he spent on that, you could probably get a Lancair IVP. The workmanship was blue ribbon quality. My only thought while admiring the airplane was that with the time and money invested and 180 hp, I think you could get better performance numbers from other designs. Funny, that's the same thing I think sometimes when I look at my KR. Knowing what I know now, I could have done better. Reshaped fuselage, new wing, larger tail surfaces, better wing tips, more leg room, etc, etc, etc. But hey, I'm still grinnin'. :-) Larry Flesner _______________________________________ Search the KRnet Archives at http://www.maddyhome.com/krsrch/index.jsp to UNsubscribe from KRnet, send a message to [email protected] please see other KRnet info at http://www.krnet.org/info.html _______________________________________ Search the KRnet Archives at http://www.maddyhome.com/krsrch/index.jsp to UNsubscribe from KRnet, send a message to [email protected] please see other KRnet info at http://www.krnet.org/info.html
