Dan, It was very good to hear that you will be in the air, soon. You
certainly have had mor than
your share of delays. Persistance is next to patience, I guess.
I have had my own delay (and dissappointment). The day before I planned
to start it up for the first time
in 12 years---- I was putting oil in the cylinders and turning the engine
over, and it stopped turning.
I could turn it ccw but cw only up to a point and it would stop. I have the
1835 out and on my table. Gotta find out
what the culprit is.
I have had one of my rare colds this week and my time with the engine
has been limited. Perhaps tomorrow I can
get it opened up. Sounds as though you will be in the air soon.
