Has anyone used hyd lifters sold by David Herrin at www.thesourceparts.com. Said to have more oil flow to valve train similar to original Corvair lifters, better than current small block Chevy lifters that are being sold for use when rebuilding a Corvair engine. His design claims to be centered around earlier lifter design when pollution emissions caused by oil that slipped stem seals wasn't considered a problem. He claims that present lifter designs minimize the oil flow to valve train components as to keep emissions lower. Has anyone experienced valve train problems, high rocker / pivot ball wear ?
