That was an excellent article on AvWeb. This year was my first landing at SNF, and I knew the NOTAM like the back of my hand. I ended up in a holding pattern around the Lake because the B-2 was doing a flyby or something, and I seemed to be the only one at the proper speed, altitude, or following directions to "stay directly above the shoreline". One guy in an RV came busting through the circular pattern headed straight for the runway, nowhere near where he should have been, and going way too fast. The controllers were way too easy on him, but gently told him to get in line with the rest of us. The whole thing wasn't nearly as bad as I thought it would be, but I'll bet when the controller says "white low-wing...rock your wings" there were 5 planes rocking back and forth, and of course when he then says "good, I've got you" 5 different guys think he's talking to them. That was disconcerting. I knew my place though, as he kept calling me "yellow Glasair"...
