Hello all,
I have been considering the Kr2s as a possible project for some
time. I have an extensive background in woodworking, auto mechanics,
electrical systems, and basic electronics. I believe the KR2S trigear would
be a good fit for someone with my skills and abilities. However since I
have never built an aircraft I know I will have much to learn.
I do not need a 4 place as there are only my wife and myself, and we
are both Of average size ( me 5'11" and 175 lbs and my wife is 5'9" and 120
lbs ( her scales ) ). We would be using it on trips averaging perhaps 300
miles one way.
I would be very interested to know what advice all of you would have
to offer to someone such as myself before I spend a lot of money.
P.S. I have very much enjoyed reading your posts and have found
them to be very informative. ( But Birch Beer ????)
