I don't know if you'll find an answer to that one, given that there are
almost certainly no "official" recommendations from RR, and there are so few
people flying with them.  Mine aren't exactly normal KR flaps, but I make a
point of not deploying them until I'm below 110 mph.  Depending on whether
or not I appear to be high or low entering base, I may drop them all right
there or wait until short final, but I do know that I sure don't like to
land without them.  I've practiced no-flap landings and they burn up a lot
more runway, but then mine function as speed brakes as well, since they are
split flaps.  That's the one smartest thing I did to mine.  I'm surprised
none of the Light Sport crowd has adopted this method to reduce landing
speeds.  Mine are about 5 mph slower with the giant flaps than without, and
I get the benefit of a speed brake as well.  For more details see
