Just received my September Kitplane. On page 6 is an article "Lockwood Debuts
Engine School for Homebiuilt and LSA Pilots" This is for Rotax engines and the
mission ... is to make sport aviation and LSA flying safer and more
affordable... The school will accomplish this by efficiently sharing a wealth
of knowledge.... The founders vision is to put information about the operation
and maintenance ...Cost for a two day course $395.

I wonder if they have ever heard of Corvair College? Will they help people
rebuild engines, supplying work space, expertise and tools? Will they have a
test stand to run the engines on??? They certinally won't do it for free Like
the "Corvair Authority" does. Thanks William Wynne and hanger gang for making
sport aviation safer and more affordable, efficiently supplying a wealth of
knowledge and having a greater vision than just puting out information on
operation and maintenance. Oh yes, and doing a three day course for $395 less
than Lockwoods two day course.
