Natters, I had the itch today to fly. I flew to Payson AZ 45 minutes north to get a burger. 45 minutes there and 45 back, with a burger, if that is 100.00 that is a really good burger, or I got shafted on the gas price. Well neither. My wife and daughter, drove to Payson and I flew. 1 burger and we split the Prime Rib special, with the Gas in both the KR and her car, with food, still not $100.00. Oh well we had a great time, since she has not seen me T/O or Land, she wanted to be there for the landing. She was 5 minutes late. After Lunch I took off and did a missed approach........yyyyyeeeeeeeeehhhhhhaaaaaaaaaa. All of the restaurant was watching, the BIG GUY in the little airplane. The monsoons started to roll in and I got out of there. Flew around some lighting. and rain. All in all a GREAT KR day. I put synthetic 10-30 in and the only thing I noticed is lower oil preasure while taxiing, and no spike while taking off. I know there is a gentleman in Payson, sorry forgot your name, lets plan a day to meet for lunch. Bob S from Sun City, if you are back in the state, I would like to come and see your plane. Is there anybody else in AZ that I can fly and VISIT????
