Netters, After buying my plane, and re-building it, How long would it take me to build a plane from scratch? I know some people build quick, some 6, 8, 11 years. Some never get completed. Would the option of purchasing a kit version of the KR be insteresting? I don't want to scare anybody or start a big thread. A person can buy several items from Rand and Diehl. Lets say you have an option of buying a complete BOAT, FRONT and REAR DECK, VERTICAL and HORIZONTAL stabilizers, WINGS, outboard and stub. Now I'm talking KR2S, all the same, all parts would be glassed and ready to be attached. Boat would be all glued and glassed, the vert and horz, would be built, foamed and glassed ready to be attached. Wings in the same fashion as D/D. Front and rear deck would have to be glued and attached, and finished. Spars premade and ready to install. How much time would this save and without haveing to build the jigs and different tools to build all of the parts, how much money could be saved???
