Try your best to keep the glue below the sanding line. If any glue comes to the surface, while sanding, cut it out as others have suggested using a razor or other small sharp knife. Cut along each side of the glue at an angle making a V notch that goes below the sanding surface and use filler to bring it back to level before glassing. Larry Flesner
