This morning I made two hour flight at daybreak. I had to climb above the 6500'
cloud deck to get out of the 5 mile visibility haze. Once I broke out on top it
was beautiful clear flying from there. Winds up there were giving me a 35 mph
variance according to my GPS. When I landed we had 17 mph almost directly
across the runway. It was not my best landing but it was ok. This was my first
flight since Sept 5th due to weather here has been wet and not favorable for
flying. Sure was good get back in the air. The rain is coming back tomorrow.
You guys need to pray to the weather gods so we all will have good weather to
get to the Gathering.
