I don't claim to be an expert on landing KRs, although I can say that I've
managed to do it over 800 times in the last year without rolling it up in a
ball, for whatever that's worth. They say you can't 3-point a taildragger
KR because they sit at something like a 9-10 degree angle on the ground,
which is still flying attitude. You CAN do it, but your speed has to be
perfect so that it quits flying at the same time you put the three wheels on
the ground. That doesn't always happen, so sometimes you drop it in, and
sometimes you go flying again.

That's probably why conventional wisdom is to wheel land it and get on the
brakes (if you're on a short runway like mine), keeping the tail up so it
doesn't go flying again (that's where the nose-down stuff comes in), but not
too high, or you buy a new prop. That's why I keep pursuing the 3 point.
Most importantly I'm going slower, and it just sets down perfectly so I can
brake without any shenanigans. One negative of that is the visibility over
the nose at touchdown, but I haven't hit any runway lights yet. I did about
4 touch and goes at Moontown's 2200' grass strip yesterday. That was a real
hoot. Greased it three times, but dropped it in for a 2g landing on the
first one! You win some and you lose some...
