Chris has and will continue to support the Gathering with a great deal of help in the manpower and facilities area. I didn't really feel comfortable turning the entire event over to a third party even though Chris is part of the KR community. I've worked with Chris on our needs and he has gone out of his way to make the Gathering a success. I've kept control of the funding, hat and shirt design and ordering, catering, banquet, forums, awards, judging, hotel contracts, tourism and local government participation, and other details too numerous to mention. Just thinking of it makes me feel tired. Is the "root beer" cold yet? Larry Flesner
