*NEWS FLASH*

The last two KR's to leave Mt.Vernon this morning were Mark Jones
and Bill Clapp. Mark aborted his takeoff because of engine problems.
After several hours of work the problem seemed to be corrected and
a short test flight seemed to confirm that all was well. Mark left
Mt.Vernon in route to visit family in Georgia. After about thirty minutes
of flight and cruising along at 6000+ feet the engine suddenly belched
and went to idle power. The nearest airport was Metropolis, Illinois, home
of Superman. Fortunately there was one phone booth left in town and
Clark Kent, sensing someone was in trouble, made a quick change of
clothes and came to the rescue. He set Mark down safely at the
Metropolis airport where the locals came to his aid. Last word was that
the KR was being separated in to pieces and loaded on a U-Haul
truck for its trip back to Wisconsin. THANKS, SUPERMAN.
Glad you're O.K . , Mark. Have a safe journey home.
