Mark L. replied. The report I read that defined the NACA duct said they would suck, but a later NACA report said they don't. It defined that a simple ramp with parallel sides was far better at sucking, so don't copy what I did there! There was an article in Kitplanes a few months ago (maybe March or April) that covered that...
