I stated that I had to cut the main spar loose. Actually it was the rear
spar but the same principal applies.

Replace the spar and then you will know your worries are over. When I
decided to go with the new AS5046 airfoil, I had to cut my center main
spar loose and raise it to meet the correct incidence. It took me about
thirty minutes to get the spar loose so I could raise it.
