Round no. 7 took me to Tzaneen this morning, where there is also a long runway. Riaan went with me in his low wing Technam 2000. My radio did not work well so he did all the comms. It was my 1st flight away from base and then you sit at 3500ft and here all the noises and smell all the funny things and slowly get more scared as you look for landing spots on the way. (All in the mind) If Riaan did not fly next to me I would have turned back. We landed at Tzaneen and after one cold drink each came back. Now the race was on. I called base when he was still like 5 miles out. On both landings I used less than 75% of the runway. Indicated airspeed was between 140 and 150mph
