The weather today was perfect so I got my bi-annual flight review taken care of. I still need the ground portion of the review to get a sign-off but I took a young instructor for a ride in the KR and he was happy to get the ride. I think he flew it more than me but it gave him a good feel for a light sport plane with light and responsive controls. Before we took off he asked if I was going to let him land it. I looked at him and reminded him with a straight face that it took me thirteen years to build it at which point he didn't press the issue. A good flight with two squeaker landings and he signed the book I keep in the KR for everyone that rides to sign with a short note. Should get in several more hours over the next three days plus pulling the plugs to clean, oil change, and work on some seat cushions. Life is great.
If you're building, keep on building. If you're flying, keep on flying. :-) Happy Thanksgiving to all that celebrate the holiday. Larry Flesner
