Mike, I did the calculations for the difference of current draw between what
is called for and what was shipped in the kit. The results are such. 41K vs.
47K-6 ohms difference=.04Ma difference in current draw, 470K vs.410K-60 ohms
difference=.004Ma difference in current draw. These values are so minute,
that the difference in the strobe timing will not be visibly distinguishable
to the naked eye. You would have to hook up an oscilloscope to see the
difference. Hope this helps

Subject: KR> Electronic Question

I ordered a Great Plains Strobe kit, It came with three resistors of which
two have slightly different values than the instructions call for. The
instructions call for a 470K and a 47K, the kit contains a 410K and a 41K.
Can
anyone tell me if this will make a difference in the operation of the
strobe? GP
was of no help.
