Robin,

First off, 50# is very close to normal, and there is nothing wrong with the
RAF48. I need to do the same on a set of wings that I have, but for
different reasons, so I am interested in your process.

The wings are heavy (approx 50 lbs), the aileron hinges are about 1/4"
concave, & I would like to put tanks in the wings.

Unfortunately I will stick with the RAF 48 airfoil I don't want to do the inner
wings & reposition the rear spar.
