I own an AA1 and it most definately does have baffles. The slosh factor is 
still so important that the airplane is labeled " no spins" more than three 
rotations and the fuel is forced through the baffles to the wing tips. This 
starves the engine while increasing the spin rate. Pilot funeral happens soon 
after.
Bill Clapp uses foam baffles in his KR with success. ( I think, please check 
with him.) I will build the tube tanks because it solves moving CG problems 
with fuel consumption. I will use the foam baffles.
