Hi Garry,

Our group generally flies to St Johns to refuel (cheap fuel!) and to get the
whole group (Los Alamos, Santa Fe, and Moriarty) together, then direct to Casa
Grande from there. There is some really rough territory in the salt river
basin. I usually fly through there at 10,500 or better, but it really isn't
that high. One can easily fly the whole route at 8500', and I have done it
under an overcast by flying the canyons. Make sure you read the NOTAMS for
Copperstate before you go.
<http://www.copperstate.org/InformationDesk/FAA%20NOTAM.pdf>

I expect we'll probably get off the ground between 7:00 and 7:30 tomorrow
morning. The group will all be talking on 123.45 on the way down. Give us a
shout and chime in. Once we get to altitude, we can usually talk across over
100+ miles.

See you tomorrow,

Jeff
