Mr. Nuckols (sp?) of aerolectric fame, does not recommend an avionics switch, as it another point failure. Last week my RV-8 avionics master switch malfunctioned, and I had no radios... just a thought. I have friends who have built many airplanes and swear by them, but right now I'm swearing at it. Most aircraft manufacturers use them.
