You might want to consider mild steel pipes with Jet Hot coating on the
inside and out.  They will last forever and keep the heat in the pipes.

You might want to consider a ceramic coating. Should provide the same
insulation; same weight, less; I'm not sure, but it is used extensively in
drag racing and other automotive and boating applications.

issue, but if on the other hand one had stainless??? The question is, " To
wrap or not to wrap THAT is the question. Are there other issues with having
higher pipe temps, would this cause higher CHT or even higher exh valve
temps? Comments?
