Josh, congrats on your accomplishment. After seeing your post tonight I went to the krnet looking for photos, I had not seen them before, plane looks good, the future co-pilot looks great too.
On a side note while I was on the krnet site looking for Joshs' airplane photos I also went to the 2008 Gathering photos, while looking through them I couldn't help but break out laughing when I saw the Friday night photo of the KRs in the hangar. The reason I got so tickled, Larry Flesner, Mark Langford and I went out to put the KRs in the hangar that evening. When all the planes were inside, we were standing there taking photos, then Larry Flesner said, "we will leave the planes with the teeth in the front to guard the rest", I remember just breaking up then as well. I suggest that from now on at the Gatherings in the future that all teethed airplanes be in the front to guard the rest because these guys did their job! LOL Larry H. ________________________________ From: "[email protected]" [email protected] I made my first flight in my KR today, and it went better than I ever could have expected! I made two seperate flights of 30 minutes each. It flew and landed great. I haven't pushed it yet, and it doesn't have wheel pants or a spinner on, but I had a groundspeed of 153 mph without a tailwind and flying straight and level. I can't wait to make my next flight! Thanks for the help and knowledge that I have gained from the list. Sincerely, Josh Choitz New KR pilot
