I had a similar problem on my Hatz one day. Check your fuel flow. Disconnect at the carburetor and let the fuel run into a container. Check the amount of fuel pumped in a minute by using a stop watch. If you are not getting 40 liter per hour there must be a restriction somewhere. I my case I found dirt in the selector valve.
