I know that someone used a leading edge air inlet do drive a gyro, but have never seen any for cockpit air. Don't know why it would not work quite well. I have my vents in the cowling, and it is a bit bothersome to disconnect and connect each time I take the bottom cowl off.

I think that I saw a picture of a KR with leading edge vents in the wings that were turned upwards after entering the cockpit.(Like a Cessna.) Would this be O.K. or would it disturb to much airflow ? Just a thought. It won't be long before I start on the wings. Mike Sylvester kr2s builder Birmingham,AL.
