I can not believe how time flies! It is almost two years ago that I had the
engine out. I first fitted a Rotax 912UL. Then removed it again, due to mod
approvals and paperwork needed. The Limbach was overhauled and refitted. I
did all the ground runs and then took it to the skies today. 160 mph on the
downwind!!! On base reduced to 100 mph and on short finals 80 mph. Not much
of the 120 m runway was left when I came to a standstill. Into the wind is
downhill. Sometimes I think it is better to land uphill downwind.
