I purchased a set of KR-1 plans decades ago. I can't read the postmark on the
package but from my address at the time it was probably mid 1970s. I never got
around to building then but have recently been mulling over the possibility of
building. Unlike some other passing fancies, the bug to build my own airplane
has never quite left me. Usually when I fancy something that's going to cost
me deeply in money and/or time I let the idea just simmer for a good while.
Most often, it loses it's shine and I'm glad I didn't expend the time/funds.

What I would like to know is whether or not there is any value in purchasing a
new plans set? Were there ever any updates, revisions, or changes? My set is
fairly legible and what little material that is not I probably can get from
other builders. I don't mind paying for a new set, I just wondered if there is
any additional data to be found in them. I'm also considering ordering a set
of KR-2 plans for added reference although at this point I'm leaning towards
the single seater.
