That sounds like I am better off paying some one to weld at a local shop then.
I read this article in SA about how this guy soldered his cable connections together with lead/tin solder like they did in the old days, and started looking into the possibility of using flux and silver solder to braze together my tanks. But now I think I will just pop rivet them together to hold them in the shape and then have them welded.
