Some quick notes here, I am finalizing the housing details for the gathering at i39, Richmond, Madison Airport this September. As some might know, I live in the Bluegrass region of Kentucky, otherwise known as the thoroughbred horse capital of the world. For those coming from a long distance away and want to make a vacation out of the gathering, the Alltech FEI World Equestrian Games http://www.alltechfeigames.com/ will be hosted by the Kentucky Horse Park, about 25 miles north of i39. They expect between 850,000 and 1.2 million people to attend the games between Sept. 25 through October 10. I watched the weather this past fall and found a later date, post the games, would negatively affect the campers due to temps in the 30's at night. I should have a commitment from the hotel I want to block rooms at, as it is literally just down the road from the airport....as three bedroom houses in my town are being rented out for 3K per week for the games. Right now plan on the gathering being held the weekend of Sept. 10 or 17th. I will get a firm date in the next couple of days. Looking forward to Mark Jones being able to start his countdown.
