I have a gap all the way across the plane, which is just under 1 inch at it's widest point. ----------- AS it sounds from you above email, I would not be flying it as is. To much risk of the air flow ripping the canopy off., THAT would not be good. I would need to see a photo, but my canopy was glassed while sitting in place, and check Mark Lankford's web, for a very detailed version.
