I got the same 55 watt halogen driving lamp in the compact package as the
1400 series at Wal-Mart for $15.99 a pair.

Hi Larry - looks like the R3255 landing light from CPS is the same as the
Hella Optilux 1450 at
http://www.amazon.com/dp/B0002MA3P8
take a look - biggest difference I can see is the price!
I've been looking at the Hella Optilux 1000 fog lamp.

Daniel, we were at Calif. Power Systems a couple of months back and they had
a wonderful Led light in a flat taxi light and a round landing light that
was like 24$. The quality looked great and I am going to get some for my KR.

This morning, I found a pretty decent source of all kinds of lights at
rallylights.com - here's the link for the projector lights from
Hella/optilux

Some time ago, there was a discussion about landing lights. Mark Langford's
site has a photo of his, which was a Lazer Blazer Ultimate driving light
from Walmart, or some such thing. With the advances in modern technology,
I'm wondering what is the latest and greatest these days, especially since I
went to Walmart, and couldn't find the Lazer Blazer...
