Just about anything you read by Bob Hoover (alias''veedubber") can be safely taken to the bank. He's widely regarded as one of the experts on VW engines used for aircraft use. Unfortunately he's had cancer for years, and passed away recently. He'll be missed. His works are worth reading, whether you're into VWs or not...
