If you bleed the brakes from the bottom up, it won't make any difference where the fill port is located. Ron

If you are still worried about the brake line hanging close to the ground, you should be able to use an "L" fitting to connect the hose to the caliper. this would allow the actual line to ext horizontally towards the back of the brake and leave plenty of clearance from the ground.
