Ok, I was under the impression that you had to glass the outside wood before painting, to act as a protection layer to a degree?
The project I took over, well they painted over the wood. Not sure what kind of paint they used but it really flakes off, I don't think it was made to be flexible. So I was using a paint scraper to scrape off these big flakes of paint and noticed wood on the side walls and not glass. Am I wrong?
