Hello Marc,

      Nice to hear your concern about he protection of your KR.I used to fly a
Piper Cub J3 which is fabric covered.If the plane is parked outside we protect
the fabric form the exposure to the element by covering it with a
soft-clothe-sided tarp.as well as the windshield.But be warned about the
windshield, never use material that will absorb heat,such as a plane plastic or
rubberized tarp since the heat absorbed by this material will transfer to the
windshield and will develop a craze.Use light colored coverings to reflect heat.

Happy flying Marc,
Jess

Hello Everyone;

I wanted to know if any of you tie your plane down outside in the elements
instead of in a hanger.

If you tie down outside do you take precautions for sun and rain damage ?  If
so
what are they.

Please advise.
