Why not go ahead and move it forward and put in a couple small side windows?

The problem is that I already have the rear of the canopy where I want it. If I bring it any further forward the rear frame will start to impinge on my view to the side/rear. I have come up with a plan to build the forward frame out to the distance needed to mount the hinge on. That is the preliminary solution to the problem anyway untill I put some more thought into it.
