The following is what I get for thinking. (besides the headache) I scaled down a P-51D Mustang to 1/2 scale and overlaid it with a KR2S and guess what... The KR2S is WAY close to the same profile as the P-51D !! Wings on the P-51 are smaller and shaped a bit differently, but that is easy to correct on the KR2S :-) Just thinking. A P-51 look-a-like would HAVE to have the radiator cooling duct under the fuse. So, what if that was turned into a pass-thru and the bottom was wing shaped for a bit of extra lift? (i.e.- flying fuselage) That a few other very minor tweaks and it would be a dead-ringer 1/2 scale P-51D, and 1/10 the weight.
