That's a good question Joe. I have a hard enough time just trying to figure out
if my KR is flyable or not from day to day. ;o) (Today, it's not) :o(

Actually, while the FAA database is less than accurate, it's probably be best
tool we have to get an accurate count of current registrations, at least in the
US. With the drive to reregister aircraft, the database should be much more
accurate once the three year registration cycle is completed. The FAA registry
database can easily be downloaded by anyone and loaded into either a
spreadsheet or database format, which would make counting them a simple matter.
I'll be sitting at home for a few weeks this spring, so maybe I'll take the
time to load the database and do some searches and counts.

Hey Guys,I have been asked several times the past few weeks "How many flying
KR's are there?" Does anyone have a handle on this question? I can give a guess
on how many are being built right now based on the net list members but not the
fling part.Thanks,Joe Horton,Cooperburg, PA.
