Pat.

I don't see any reason why you cannot use both. Certainly, don't mix them,
but many of these aircraft have been built with different resins over the
years. I think staying with epoxy, except where something like VinylEster
is called for, is definitely better.

I learned to use AeroPoxy from Mark, many years ago and have been using it
ever since, because of the reasons he cited. If it gets old, I don't
hesitate to use it on something that is not structural like a wing, or, I
guess, anything but a wing. I have never noticed it curing out any
differently, no matter how old it is, but also never put it to a breakage
test either.

Subject: KR> Resins

Hello guys.

I know there have been some good info poster on resins, but I now find
myself in need of some of the knowledge. I have the following that came
with a project I purchased and don't know how old the resins are. I have a
gallon of west system 105 w/pump, it flows freely.
Aeropoxy light part a resin !qt
                        Part B hardner 1 pt
                        Aeroposy Hardner PH3660 1 qt
                        Pr2032 resin 2 gal.
Is any of it any good? How could you tell for sure? Thanks for your help
