Peter, Whatever flat bed truck or trailer you might use, do not under any circumstances even think about tying down the airplane by the WAFs at the stub wings. The shaking from the truck or trailer will shake your homebuit airplane to pieces starting with the engine ripping out the fire wall. Secure the airplane at the tires and let the tires and gear do what they do best: absorb all the shocks and vibration from the pavement.
