I am currently using Foreflight on a 1st generation IPAD with wifi and 3G.
Works fine for flight planning at home, keep it on my knee in the airplane
during flights. Yes there is some washout from sun glare but I also use a GPS96
in the cockpit for navigation.

Thanks,

I have been trying to find the best flight planning software, to enhance my
ross country experience in my completed aircraft. I really like the
orizontal view in the SkyDemon, which they call the radar view. Jepp also
as one with this view. These are very expensive, so I don't want to jump
ithout investigating.
