It was an unfortunate weekend with the loss of KR family member George McHenry. In 2008 George showed up virtually out of no where with one of the most pristine built versions of the KR ever seen by us. He proceeded to take home several awards from the Gathering in 2008. I did not know George very well but he quietly appeared in the KR world and left us leaving his name in the history books. Yes he will go down in history not on as being an exceptional person and a KR builder but also as the man who caused Mitt Romney to cancel his only political rally for the weekend.
