The Gathering will happen rain or shine. The weather is looking a
bit better now for Mt.Vernon, at least calling for light winds if we
get lucky and miss any big rains. Let's hope the weather doesn't
keep too many KR from flying in. All pilots play it safe, please.

If we do have limited flying weather we will make the most of our
time with show and tell sessions. Anyone having something to share,
i.e., fiberglass demo's and the like, bring all needed materials you
need and we can fill time slots between the already scheduled
forums. I'm thinking if we get long periods of rain we'll set up a
P.A. in the large hanger and each KR pilot making it to Mt.Vernon can
do a show and tell on his airplane. I could do an hour on mine with
all the changes. Just a thought. For all attending, a rain event
will not make it a wasted trip.

Hats and shirts: I think I'm covered for everyone that has ordered
as of today. Any more orders will have to be mailed. If you didn't
order already, attend the Gathering, and want a hat or shirt, get on
the "wait" list as soon as you arrive and register. Any hats or
shirts ordered and not picked up by noon Saturday will go on sale to
those on the "wait" list. If you have e-mailed me and said you can't
make the Gathering but still want your hat / shirt, you're
covered. Those that have not done so as of today and wish to do the
same, let me know by tomorrow evening. I'll be going off net as of
Thursday A.M. early and heading to Mt.Vernon. This will be my 23 KR
Gathering without a miss, every one since 1990, and I am as excited
about this one as the first 22 !!!!! :-)

Let's hope the weather improves and lot's of KR can make
it. EVERYONE, FLY AND DRIVE SAFE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
