I think something like this is fine for reference. Hands on is best for learning how to do something well. You won't forget stuff near as fast if you participate. BUT, not all people learn the same way, some methods work for some and not others. Having the "library" available would be great. Put them on a streaming server and access them from anywhere....and/or make DVDs available. I like the idea as a library or reference but not as a substitute for a hands on workshop.
