That appears to be a Pulsar. Damn. I was just into Hensley Air Park to visit Jack a week ago today. I had read the map as saying that was a 4000' strip. It has down hill approaches from either end. Thinking it was 4000', I didn't watch my speed as closely as I should have, so it was a tire chirping brake smoking event getting stopped within the confines of the runway.
Fortunately, the report says non-life threatening injuries, but knowing that Jack has multiple artificial joints and mobility issues, he may be a bit beat up. Let's hope for the best and wish Jack well. -Jeff Scott Los Alamos, NM > ----- Original Message ----- > From: Prototype Mech > Sent: 10/11/12 07:05 PM > To: K Rnet > Subject: re: KR> crash picture > > Looks like a lancair by the thin wings, swept tail, and round fuselage. > > > > Sent from Yahoo!
