The comments/experience by Sid is exactly why I decided to Lean my Zenith alone. I had researched the use of a speedometer cable and such to have an in flight adjustable mixture but, I felt the mixture was way to sensitive and I would end up with a over rich or over lean condition at just the wrong time. Engine sputtering to dead or ring or valve issues. Oh, and leaking gas. I did not investigate the solution that Brian suggested and I will investigate it now. Over all, I have been very happy with the carb. Obviously I think a throttle body injection would be better at exact fuel air mixture and I think I seen someone mention a Mukini or something and that would be worth looking into.
