That's all quite true but has nothing to do with the problem of being
confronted with a sign-in screen instead of the album of pictures.  When
Bob created the album of pictures on OneDrive, there was/is an option
that says "Get a Link".  That link will take people directly to the album
of pictures.  No passwords or sign-in procedures are necessary.  There's
no need to have a Microsoft account just to look at pictures on Bob's
OneDrive album.  

All Bob had to do before posting the link to the group was click on his
own link and see what happened.  It's called testing.  

So, Bob R. . . . go to your album of pictures, find the option that says
"Get a Link".  That's the link you want to share.  It couldn't be
simpler.
